Today encountered new problem while configuring outlook for a user (INFO: we migrated to office 365 cloud) running Windows 7, office 2007 standard.
The account was created successfully, and was tested correctly at the time of setting account. After starting Outlook (2007), user was able to receive mail correctly, but when he tried to create new mail, encountered error: “The operation failed. An object could not be found”
After 2 hours of head banging, finally found the solution.
Someone incorrectly set the Outlook exe to run in compatibility mode. Just removed the check and done!
